Picture perfect...

...everything.

My birthday was last week and it turned out to be one of the best birthdays I've had for a long while. Apart from being hungover most of the day and wasting it alternating between the bedroom and the sofa and lounging for most of it, it was perfect because it was a holiday here so I didn't have to work.

Presents included a meat thermometer, a pestle and mortar, a fab gift voucher, some aftershave, and most perfectly, a Swiss Edition Kenwood Chef from OH.

Now, I am obsessed with the idea of making macarons, and tonight will be my first batch. Hopefully they will be picture perfect and the pictorial results to follow very soon...
